MYSTERY

We had a mystery yestersday. It started while Ken and Mary Jo were here, and to me sounded just like a big cat fight right outside the front door---not that we've ever seen any cats around here, and when we looked, we didn't see any this time. Well about 1/2 hour later: same sound. We looked, saw nothing, had a few theories, and went on with our weekly visit. The sound kept up all evening and just before we went to bed, there was a big one. "OH", said Robert, "that's my computer!" Sure enough it was. It makes very odd noises when the player gives right answers to its games, and that was what it was doing: just playing games by itself, and had been doing so all afternoon. Mystery solved!

We had our first Bacon/Tomato Sandwiches of the summer last night. Love 'em. And today, I plan to finish the last half of the silver------and so the story goes: have a good one. Marian
